We have always had a deep affection for dogs. Our
first efforts at breeding and training dogs was in the
1960s. We raised and trained our first Beagle hounds.
Since that time, we have had the experience of training
and showing some great dogs.
Our first experience in the show ring was with Lady,
our German Shepard pup. From there to Amos, our
Rottweiler, who was a double-handful. One of the
most lovable and the most energetic dogs we ever
trained was Candy, our Brittany Spaniel. Several of
these dogs rest in peace under the apple tree out back.
Our efforts are currently concentrated on three
different breeds. We breed and train Dachshunds,
Labrador Retrievers and Australian Cattle dogs. Dee
Dee loves her Dachshunds very much. Ronnie enjoys
training his Labradors for hunting and show, and our
sons find the Australian Dogs very helpful in herding
their cattle.

| We are currently boarding a bird (see photo below). We have also kept pet rabbits...we love all animals and if you need to leave home, but don't want to leave them home alone...call us! |
